Iconoclash 4.5. - 1.7.2002

Within the parameters of the exhibition "Iconoclash - beyond iconoclasm in science, religion and art" the research group_f was invited to furnish a temporary office for the period of one week. An office situation, or rather a laboratory, was created in front of the entrance to the exhibition including temporary structures, video presentations and an information booth, serving as starting point for various activities which include visitors to the exhibition. The extensive activity and intervention programme was developed by some 25 students of the University of Art and Design Zurich, the State Academy of Fine Art Stuttgart and other universities. The result was an intensive exchange and dialogue with visitors to the exhibition who participated in the programme with great interest and a sense of fun.

Im Rahmen der Ausstellung "Iconoclash. Jenseits der Bilderkriege in Wissenschaft, Religion und Kunst" wurde die forschungsgruppe_f eingeladen, eine Woche lang ein temporäres Büro einzurichten. Vor dem Eingang der Ausstellung wurde eine Bürosituation geschaffen bzw. ein Labor eingerichtet mit Versuchsaufbauten, Videopräsentationen und Infostand, das als Ausgangspunkt für unterschiedliche Aktivitäten diente, unter Einbeziehung der Besucher innerhalb der Ausstellung. Das umfangreiche Aktions- und Interventionsprogramm wurde von ca. 25 Studentinnen und Studenten der Hochschule für Gestaltung in Zürich, der Staatlichen Akademie für bildende Kunst in Stuttgart und anderer Universitäten entwickelt. Es entstand ein intensiver Austausch und Dialog mit Ausstellungsbesuchern, die interessiert und lustvoll am angebotenen Programm teilgenommen haben.
